Shri Ram Iqbal Singh
Founder Chairman NACOF & Ex. Chairman NCCF India Ltd
Shri Ram Iqbal Singh, Founder Chairman NACOF. Shri Singh was unanimously elected as Working Chairman of NACOF in the elections held in March 2021. Since the inception of NACOF, he is associated with the Federation. Earlier also he was Chairman of NCCF for two terms and Director of NAFED, Co-operative Bank of India and National Cooperative Union of India for many terms and other State/National Level Cooperative Federations. He is a founder member of the Board of NACOF. Shri Singh has been unanimously elected Chairman of NACOF for two terms. Presently he is serving the organization as a Working Chairman. Shri Singh is the Chairman of National Film and Fine Arts Cooperative Ltd. He is the veteran Co-operator for the last more than three decades.
He is as sociated with the cooperative movement since 1975 at the National/State/District/Primary level Cooperative Societies. Shri Singh is a very hardworking person and travels frequently all over India for the Business Development of the Federation. NACOF is in profit since its inception due to his dedicated work serving NACOF. Till now NACOF has achieved a turnover of Rs 2500/- Cr under his leadership.
Shri Ram Iqbal Singh is a very spiritual person. He has written three books on the subject of spirituality. I) “Swayam Se Parichay”, II) “Kundalini Shakti Se Sakshtkar”, III) Atma Se Sakshaatkar aur Parmatma se Parichay” was written by him and recently published. The Second Edition of the Book “Swayam Se Parichay” will also be published soon.
Acharyapuram has been designed to evolve as a platform to cater and share the traditional and modern agriculture knowledge, technology advancement and new avenues in agro domain to students, academia, farmers, industry and all other stakeholders for the betterment and sustainable development of the society.
Acharyapuram through its first training programme, CORPORATE SETU is committed to increasing the skill set of agriculture youths and increasing their employability in the corporate sector.
Shri Dina Nath Thakur
National President-Sahkar Bharti
Shri Dina Nath Thakur is presently holding the responsibility of National President, Sahkar Bharti. He has extensive experience in the field of agriculture, rural credit and Cooperatives. He holds Masters degree in Economics and Post Graduate Diploma in Management.
He has worked as Deputy Managing Director of National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC). He has served as NCDC nominee on the Board of National Cooperative Consumer Federation of India (NCCF); and Indian Farm Forestry Development Cooperative Ltd.(IFFDC). He was elected as Chairman of Agricultural and Food Marketing Association for Asia and the Pacific (AFMA), Bangkok, Thailand for the period 2016-18.
Prior to NCDC, Mr Thakur has worked with the Government of India in Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare in various positions i.e. Assistant Commissioner, Deputy Director and Director. His primary area of interest and assignment related to various areas of agricultural credit and cooperation.
Acharyapuram can be evolved as a knowledge platform to cater different basics, needed at primary and secondary level of agriculture. Skill training in agriculture is important for job purposes because it equips students with the necessary knowledge and expertise to thrive in the agriculture industry.
I am sure that through its well planned team, experiences and dedication of giving ‘back to the society’, CORPORATE SETU will be able to contribute in the fight not only for bridging the gap between industry and academia but also to attract more and more youths towards agriculture.
